Khang Viet Tien upgrades the quality standards of its production facility, aiming to achieve BSCI certification.
BSCI – The golden ticket to enter the global retail supermarket chain.
The BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) standard is a code of conduct for corporate social responsibility adopted by leading retailers in Europe and the US as a prerequisite when selecting suppliers. Achieving BSCI certification demonstrates that a business complies with labor laws, ensures workplace safety, and is committed to protecting the production environment.
Upgrading the factory's lighting and fire prevention systems.
As part of the BSCI assessment process, Khang Viet Tien has completed the upgrade of its entire energy-saving LED lighting system in the handicraft weaving and finished product packaging areas. The automatic fire extinguishing system, clearly marked emergency exits, and personal protective equipment for workers operating the sterilization drying ovens have also been standardized to 100%.
Towards sustainable and humane development
We understand that the value of a finely crafted handicraft lies not only in the quality of the materials or the skill of the weaving, but also in the smile and peace of mind of the artisan who created it. Khang Viet Tien is committed to maintaining fair wages and bonuses, and providing comprehensive insurance benefits for its employees, creating a solid foundation for long-term development.
